Festival Review: Rock im Park 2016

Hi guys,

You may have heard about Rock am Ring, the big German Festival that was cancelled on the last day because of heavy rain and thunderstorms. More than 80 people were injured, more than 10 heavily.

I was at the twin Festival, Rock im Park. The weather changed between sunshine and nearly 30 degrees celcius and heavy rain in seconds, but we were safe and I had the best time on a Festival ever!

I went with a group I met last year, but we grew instantly and at the end we were a big group out of small ones and counted at least 30-40 people. Happily it didn`t rain during my favorite bands, my Highlights were:

Bring me the Horizon, Biffy Clyro, Of Mice and Men, Panic! at the Disco and Bullet for my Valentine. Just realised this reads itself like an Emo Line-Up, but its crazy to see how they all grew up and the emo people are still there but they are adults now too and look completly different.

If you ever have the chance to see Biffy or Panic live, take it! They are both absolutely amazing.

I loved the vibe, even if it wasn`t organised that well this year. It felt like all the nice stuff was RaR only, they got a Supermarket, a special shower area and a fairy wheel. Lasty year there were more different type of food and not just the same one 3-5 times.
